Company Profile
Concours Parts

By the time you receive this magazine, (September-October 2001) Concours Parts and Accessories of Carson City, Nevada, will be releasing their new catalog. I expect everyone in the club will be getting a copy soon.
Councours parts was started in 1986 by Larry Evenson who saw a need to start supplying the automobile hobby, hard to find parts. At the time, there were very few if any companies supplying any Ford parts for the industry. Larry started out in a lot smaller warehouse and didn’t have near as much to sell as they do now.
Brian Jaquish is the current general manager and is the son of Larry and currently takes on a lot of company responsibility to keep things moving smoothly. They currently have 10 employees and a large warehouse full of parts in Carson City, Nevada. They moved a couple of years ago from California. At this time, they offer catalogs for Mustangs; 49-59 Fullsized Ford (And that of course includes the 1959 Galaxies); 55-57 Small Thunderbird; 58-66 Large Thunderbirds; and the 48-66 Ford Trucks. They are planning on expanding the truck line up soon. Concours has been advertising in our club magazine now for five years and is a major supporter of the club. They have a website at http://www.concoursparts.com where you can order parts 24 hours a day on-line and you can use Master Card or Visa if you like.
They distribute an ABS firewall cover for the ‘63 and ‘64 that looks just like the original until you touch it. They have electric windshield wiper motor conversions for 59-60 Ez cool Hi performance insulation used by Nascar.
They also market many of the same items as the other distributors, so you need to shop between them all. Just to mention, they have 62-63 Seat side shields for XL bucket seats and the plastic hinge covers.
If you keep your eye open for their ads in the club magazine, you will note that frequently they have “Galaxie Club of America” specials that they run. This last issue the special was on New Carpet. 80/20 rayon/nylon with a 36 ounce jute backing. Most are molded for a perfect fit. They have the correct heel pad and correct dimmer switch grommet included. It is a superior quality carpet at an affordable price. Don’t go another summer without new carpet! The special Galaxie Club price is $129.95.
They are also carrying the new armrest replacement for your 1960 - 1967 Galaxie. They feature the correct grain texture, original padded feel and factor color match on selected colors. Exact fit reproduction. Molded of modern material for greater durability AND they are manufactured in the U.S.A!
Check them out on the World Wide Web!
