Larry Parks's
1959 Ford Galaxie Convertible
North Canton, Ohio

I found this 1959 Ford in Horseheads, NY at Otto's Wheels in July 2014. It had been in there possession for several years. I was actually looking for a1956 Ford Victoria but after driving several I realized I wanted something with a little more power. First off I am a sucker for the color blue. The car was originally Surf Blue and Colonial White but had been repainted to white and light blue, neither of which were Ford colors, prior to my purchase. I have repainted it back to the correct Colonial White but kept the blue. The motor is a 352 HP. I have redone the suspension including the springs. The motor and transmission have been rebuilt. I did add an Edelbrock 4 bbl carberature and intake manifold and electric choke. I replaced the gas tank. Other than the dash pad and carpet the interior is original. The Convertible top appears to be original. The original pad is in the trunk. This a great driver and accelerates well when you want to. Nothing better than running down the road with the top down in beautiful weather!
