Fairmont, West Virginia

Retired from Western Tele-Communications in Denver, CO. after 40+ years. Was fleet manager with 450 vehicles plus was expeditor for both in-bound and out-bound shipments.

My first Ford was a 1960 Sunliner. The second was a 1965 Mustang Convertible traded it for one of the first Mustang GTA Conv. with the 390 engine, Traded it (big mistake) for the 71. Ordered it from Point Marion Ford in Point Marion, PA. 429 2bbl. Light Pewter Metallic with white knitted vinyl bucket seats. Power windows and the trailer tow package. Still have the complete wiring harness, never had it installed. The only one with that option.

The LTD was registered first in WV then in FL back to WV. Then to WY then to CO. and back to WV. The car has never been restored, Just repaired as needed.
Been repainted 3 times, has had the top replace twice. Still have the boot and it's in very good condition. The engine has never been rebuilt except for valve seals in 1989. Just replaced the fuel and water pumps and timing chain.
