Chuck Carter's
1962 Country Sedan
Little Rock, Arkansas

I have owned my 1962 Country Sedan since 1991. The color is Sandshell Beige with brown Pogostick and pearl vinyl. It is all original except for an engine/transmission rebuild. It has all major options except power side windows. I am the second owner. My car spent its first life on a horse farm as a tow vehicle. It was not an everyday car. I think it is very well preserved for its age and mileage (149,000). Everything works on the car. All paint and chrome are original. The interior is in very good condition. The anodized trim and emblems present as almost perfect. It is pictured in the David Temple book "Full-Size Fords, 1955-70" on pages 65 and 66. It has always been kept inside. It had a "stall" in the hose barn where it lived its first 29 years! It shared the barn garage with 2 1962 F 250s and a 1962 Lincoln sedan all in the same color!
