The following information is for members who are interested in
forming a chapter of the Ford Galaxie Club of America:

    1. You need to have a minimum of 15 members get together to form a chapter. That is not fifteen cars, but fifteen members.

    2. All members of a chapter, MUST be a member of the Ford Galaxie Club of America

    3. Chapter dues will be collected by the chapter directly and the chapter will make sure that all members are in good standing with the Ford Galaxie Club of America. Suggested dues for the chapter are $10 per year, however that is left up to the chapter. The Ford Galaxie Club of America dues are $30 regardless to support the National magazine. All Chapter dues can be used for local events and mailings that are related to the chapter. The chapter can submit ads to the Ford Galaxie Club rather than have their own newsletter to save costs. As long as we receive the information in a timely manner in digital format it will be included in the current publication of the Ford Galaxie Club of America.

    4. It is suggested that the chapter maintain officers.

    5. The chapter will be responsible for letting the Ford Galaxie Club of America know of their events and schedules and shall not do so at the "last minute".

    6. Chapters will maintain their own identity outside of the Ford Galaxie Club of America, via a logo that has incorporated the national logo into it. See examples above.

    7. All events that the chapters schedule must be supported by funds that the chapter raises.

    8. Chapters should make the effort to support local events with local vendors help rather than to solicit help from national vendors that support the Ford Galaxie Club of America. This way the vendor isn't overburdened by requests. If all chapters started soliciting a current advertiser in the Galaxie Gazette they are threatening that advertising base for the Ford Galaxie Club of America. Try to get local support from various businesses in your area such as the local auto parts store, tire companies, car dealerships, printing shops, etc. Don't forget to consider non-auto related businesses! Clothing stores, mini-marts and even toy stores are all potential supporters! Many are more than happy to help support your chapter, both financially and with giveaways like custom printed t-shirts, gift certificates, auto parts and more.

    9. The chapter will make an effort to have a member update their website, or else the website will be updated as time permits by Mark Reynolds of the Ford Galaxie Club of America.
